The Eco-label comes to Pentagon...

The latest Italian additions to Pentagon’s designed to inspire... collection have all been awarded the prestigious Eco-label.

The Eco-label was created in 1992 - and led by the European Community.  Since it’s inception only 490 companies across Europe have met the strict ecological and performance criteria set in place by EUEB (The European Union Eco-labelling board) to achieve this award and only 12 Ceramic manufacturers included in this figure in Italy. 

The Eco-label is awarded only to products with the lowest environmental impact.   When you, or your customers, see products with the eco-label logo, you will know that these products have been carefully assessed and have been found to make less of an environmental impact than other similar competing products, or those products with sometimes misleading environmental claims on them. 

With consumers becoming more and more concerned about the environment, research has shown that we all want to play our part in actively helping to protect the environment by purchasing products that inflict less damage upon it. 

When you see the ecolabel logo (shown above) on our designed to inspire... tiles you can be assured that they have been produced with the environment in mind.
